Farsider terms of use

These terms cover the Farsider app for Android and iPhone and our server at farsider.app. By using the app you agree to them. Farsider is published by Verano Solutions BV, a company in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

Ride safely

• Farsider helps you find your way; it does not ride for you. Keep your eyes on the road, obey traffic rules and road signs, and only look at or touch the phone when it is safe and legal to do so.
• Maps, routes, road surfaces, speed limits, speed cameras, weather and travel times come from open data and forecasts. They can be wrong or out of date. A route may use roads that are closed, private, unsafe or not suited to your motorcycle, your skills or the conditions on the day. You decide whether to ride it.
• Speed camera warnings are not available in every country and are not allowed everywhere. Check the local rules before you switch them on.

Your use of the app

• You may use the app for your own, non-commercial riding. Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, or use our server in ways that harm it or other riders.
• Rider groups: you are responsible for the names, routes and trips you share. Share your position only with people you trust; you can leave a group at any time.
• Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Other data and software in the app keep their own licences (Menu → About).

Farsider Pro

• Farsider is free to use. Farsider Pro is an optional subscription that adds features listed in the app (such as satellite view and the Local guide). Which features Pro includes may change over time; we will not take away a feature you pay for during a period you have paid for.
• Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Free trial: new subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and the first period is charged.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before. You manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
• A subscription unlocks Pro on the phones signed in to the same store account, up to five at a time.
• We may change Pro prices for future periods; the store tells you before a new price applies.

Our responsibility

• We provide the app "as is". We work to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or always available, or that its data is complete or accurate.
• As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on maps, routes, warnings or forecasts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and important changes are announced in the app. Dutch law applies, without taking away the protection of the law of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law of your country gives you another choice.
